ALl games have a certain shelf life, and I think PGR2 has reached its
end. Online gaming is falling off - at least I can hardly ever find anyone
on my friends list playing the game and downloadable content is non-
existent. The price was even reduced by 40% to get sales of the game.
With Rallisport 2 coming out - and the more hardcore Toca 2 - I believe
PGR2 has reached its sheld life. Bizarre Creations dropped the ball on
this - and I think all their alleged work on downloadable content will
really be for nothing, and that news of it will be a small news items as
people talk about Rallisport and Toca. It was dumb to reduce the price
before the DLC. If good content was coming, the price could have been
upheld.

Let's not forget that TOCA2/V82 is actually a race simulator and PGR2 is an
arcade racer.

Pity PGR2 is dying a slow death... I only just got my xbox and PGR2 like 2
months ago. I've got 10 platinum's to go and I JUST got XBL on Monday!

Oh, well... Atleast I've clocked V81... Time to buy V82.

Why is everyone saying that there's no good wheel for xbox... Whaty about
the Williams F1 wheel?

Agreed, PGR2's shelf-life is winding down, even though reasonably-priced
downloadable content might have provided an interesting business opportunity
for them. I think they might have been able to squeeze an additional $5 out
of many of us on a quarterly basis for good maps and vehicles. Instead they
have waited too long.

I have no problems finding live PGR2 games. It seems I am finding more than
in the past.

The people playing in in December through March are hardly playing it now,
that is my point. And if the game's true high point comes when the price
is $30 - then why buy the next one new?

BJG,

Many of us own other Live games also.. I spread my time among PGR2,
Crimson Skies, & Rallisport 2.

I still have no problem finding full rooms and have about 8 people on my
friends list who are regulars.
