On PGR1, the tracks eventually opened up so you could go anywhere. Does this
happen on PGR2? and if so when/how?

Also is the only way to get the TVR Cerbera 12 by completing all medals at
platinum?

Yes to both your answers.

However...

There is a technology called Action Replay that will unlock all cars and
tracks for you. I host a lot of games, and tend to kick anyone with a TVR 12
that I don't know, or who doesn't have at least 15 online Kudos. People who
buy AR to have everything unlocked usually don't know all the tracks and
cars well enough, and ruin it for those of us who are trying to do some
competitive racing.

You kick them off? What happens if they bought PGR2 but didnt have
live, played it to death, got the TVR 12, then went online with Kudos
of 1? Surely you should kick them if they prove themselves to drive
badly

Yeah, I usually let them play a race or two. Sometimes I just kick anyway.
We have a good community of racers, and our hosted rooms fill up quickly -
no need to let an unknown entity ruin several races "just to be fair."
There's enough other people hosting out there.

Well, you have to beat the various tracks in any given medal in single
player - world kudos championship. You can just wail through the game by
choosing to win everything only in bronze or silver. It will fly by pretty
quickly, and you can always go back to improve your score once your skills
increase. Even just shooting for bronze, you'll earn plenty of kudos, and
will be able to buy whatever the best car in each class is.

Though I was willing to do this, I did not want to wait till the end of the
game to get to race the Nurburgring. (For instance.) So... you can either do
the car challenge or the track challenge - pick the Koenigssegg in
ultimates, and you'll race it on the Ring.

You can also unlock a track by winning a race on it against others in
multiplayer.

Dont think thats what he meant. Think he was referring to feature in
MSR and PGR1 that when completed allowed you to drive freely around
the whole city a la GTA or Midtown madness etc

Ooohhh, that WOULD be cool.... I don't think that's possible in PGR2.
