The controller interface on the Xbox 360 is actual USB port, therefore you
can use the 360 controller on your PC without any hassles.

Microsoft, seeing the potential of the controller for PC gaming, has decided
to sell the Xbox 360 Controller individually including the drivers for use
on Windows XP for $40.

Alternatively, future 360 owners can also pull their own controller (the
wired version) from the system and merely download the XP drivers from
Windows Upate
